Faris Machinery has factory authorized and trained service technicians - on the road and in the shop at our three Colorado locations. Our technicians undergo regular, rigorous factory training so we can offer the fastest, highest quality, and most cost-effective solutions to our customers. We are fully committed to keeping your machinery in top condition and on the job.

We keep our diagnostic equipment and technicians up-to-date so we can efficiently diagnose and repair your complex heavy machinery and equipment. With the most up-to-date technology, Faris can provide solutions and work with you on how to be proactive in caring for your equipment.

Our technicians are skilled in fabrication, welding, chassis and pump repair, preventative and general maintenance, and refurbishment. With an extensive inventory of equipment and access to heavy machinery parts, our construction equipment experts are here to serve you!

We maintain a "birth record" of the equipment we sell (year, make, model, and serial number) - and keep track of all the service work we have performed. By keeping track of the details, Our technicians are able to quickly diagnose any problems and get your equipment back to work!

Do you inspect equipment?

We want to keep your heavy equipment on the job – and regular inspections help you identify issues early, so you can get working and keep working through the season. We will let you know the condition of your equipment so you can schedule maintenance proactively, control and reduce repair cost, and have the parts available when you need them.

Our Technicians are factory trained to look for maintenance issues in Blaw Knox and LeeBoy asphalt pavers, Gomaco concrete pavers and curb and gutter machines, Gradall hydraulic excavators, and other high-use equipment. Ask about our machine audits

Does Faris do rebuilds in addition to repairs?

Absolutely! During the off season we inspect and rebuild Blaw Knox & LeeBoy pavers, Volvo & Wacker rollers, Doosan air compressors, Wacker ground heaters, Gorman Rupp pumps, and all types of Gomaco concrete equipment, and often have the parts in stock to reduce turn-around time.

The Faris-Moritz Equipment Company is founded as a construction supply firm by Lloyd Faris and Charlie Moritz.

1953

Charlie Moritz retires, and the company becomes Faris Machinery.

1971

Roger Poulson acquires 100% ownership in Faris, becomes the leader of the company and manages it for 28 years.

1976

Main office is established in Commerce City, where it remains today.

1977

Faris Machinery opens its branch in Grand Junction.

1998

Roger Poulson retires and his sons Todd Poulson and Giles Poulson take over the company.

2003

Faris Machinery opens a branch in Colorado Springs.

2005

Giles Poulson acquires 100% interest in Faris, buying out his brother Todd.

2010

Faris Machinery acquires Boyle Equipment.

2011

Faris Machinery acquires Foster Equipment.

2012

Eric Poulson becomes as an equity owner and takes on management of the Grand Junction branch.

2014

Faris Machinery welcomes Brad Elliott, a trusted financial advisor, as an owner.
