Rent-To-Purchase Program

Are you deciding whether to rent or buy? We have heavy equipment and machinery available for daily, weekly, monthly, or long-term rental, including asphalt rollers and pavers, skid steers, mini-excavators, and more! You can decide to go with rent-to-rent (short term) or rent-to-own (longer term) options. With the rent-to-own option, Faris applies a generous portion of your equipment rental payments to the purchase price. This may even serve as a down payment when you finance the purchase.

Conditions

The equipment must be rented continuously for rental fees to be applied to the purchase price.
Rental payments must be current.
The Rent-to-Purchase Program must be completed within 18 months. (For longer terms, lease-to-own programs are available.)
Faris Machinery reserves the right to rescind the Rent-to-Purchase agreement if conditions are not met.
You must work or be located in the state of CO to qualify for the process.

Policies

Renter is responsible for the following:

Proof of insurance prior to rental to expedite processing (download instructions here)
Lubrication of required areas or components
Filter and fluid changes at required intervals

If Renter returns the machine without completing the purchase, Renter is responsible for:

Return of the machine with full fuel, in good condition and reasonably clean. (A minimum charge of $100 will be assessed if the machine is returned dirty.) Damage to the rented machine.
Replacement of teeth or cutting edges as needed.
Tire damage or excessive tire/tread wear.

The Faris-Moritz Equipment Company is founded as a construction supply firm by Lloyd Faris and Charlie Moritz.

1953

Charlie Moritz retires, and the company becomes Faris Machinery.

1971

Roger Poulson acquires 100% ownership in Faris, becomes the leader of the company and manages it for 28 years.

1976

Main office is established in Commerce City, where it remains today.

1977

Faris Machinery opens its branch in Grand Junction.

1998

Roger Poulson retires and his sons Todd Poulson and Giles Poulson take over the company.

2003

Faris Machinery opens a branch in Colorado Springs.

2005

Giles Poulson acquires 100% interest in Faris, buying out his brother Todd.

2010

Faris Machinery acquires Boyle Equipment.

2011

Faris Machinery acquires Foster Equipment.

2012

Eric Poulson becomes as an equity owner and takes on management of the Grand Junction branch.

2014

Faris Machinery welcomes Brad Elliott, a trusted financial advisor, as an owner.
